The Marketing Committee met this morning and, as usual, they came up with great ideas . . . . one of which is we want to have a presence in the St. Patty's Day Parade on March 13. But we have a problem, we are NOT float makers. BUT you, a friend, or an organization may be. If any group is interested in designing and making a float that screams "the arts" please let me know.
It is VERY likely that the float builders will be featured on TV as you assemble the float. Our committee volunteers will sit on the float (if that's appropriate), we'll walk the parade alongside the float, and we will include your name(s) in the Thank You ad to be printed on-line and in the local paper.
We are looking for a great float -- so please let me know if you have a great idea. The Marketing Committee would like to choose its float makers early in January.
